Advocate, Cannabis, Cardiac, Home Health, Lobbyist, Rehabilitation | CNNC 2020 | 2021

Nurse Deb is a USAF Veteran and Registered Nurse with over 25 years of experience as a medical professional. Over the years, both as a medical professional, and as a curious citizen, she has amassed a vast wealth of evidence-based knowledge on the benefits offered by entheogenic plant medicines. She is committed to providing evidenced-based research with a desire to change the legal landscape surrounding these misunderstood and stigmatized plant medicines. Entheogenic plant medicines are tools, much like western medicine, but misunderstood. She strives to dispel the lie we were told and pivot that misunderstanding.

As a cannabis nurse, Deb is very passionate about providing positive patient outcomes and is an active member of several associations. Deb is striving to advocate for her patients by attending state and federal legislative events to better assist in breaking the stigma and giving the patients the choice to use cannabis as medicine.

Always seeking improvement and knowledge, Deb recently graduated Magna Cum Laude with her BSN and is currently in the process of obtaining her master's degree with a focus in Healthcare Regulation.

We were lied to. My goal is to help dispel that lie regarding entheogenic plant medicines through regulation and policy development. As citizens of this great nation, we have the power to activate that lasting change through Advocacy.

I have a challenge for you. Set a goal of once a week or even once a month to reach out to your local, state, or federal legislator about something that is important to you. NORML, Americans for Safe Access, and even the American Nurses Association have easy, pre-made letters that you can easily customize and send an email to your legislators. As the most trusted profession for close to 20 years, nurses should be leading this change. Join the Revolution in HealTHCare and become an agent of change!
