Deb McCauley, RN, CRRN

Advocate, Cannabis, Cardiac, Home Health, Lobbyist, Rehabilitation | CNNC 2020

Deborah (Deb) started her medical career as a combat medic in USAF. After she was medically discharged due to a diagnosis of epilepsy, she went on to work a variety of medical jobs. In 2010, she expanded her medical knowledge by graduating with her RN. She recently graduated Magna Cum Laude with her BSN. She is in the process of obtaining her master's degree from the University of Maryland’s Medical Cannabis Science and Therapeutics program.

As a cannabis nurse, Deb is very passionate about providing positive patient outcomes and is an active member of several associations. Deb is striving to advocate for her patients by attending state and federal legislative events to better assist in breaking the stigma and giving the patients the choice to use cannabis as medicine.

When attending networking events, and in general, carry a pen and make notes on the business cards you obtain. At the end of each day, spend some time going over the connections you made and send a quick email to connect.
