BIOGRAPHY:

WILLIAM DOLPHIN has been a professional writer and editor for more than 30 years. He has published hundreds of articles and opinion pieces and contributed to more than a dozen books.

Since 2002, he has written primarily about medical cannabis law, policy, medical research, and the patient experience.
Following media relations work on the landmark federal trial of cannabis author Ed Rosenthal, William has for 16 years contributed to the education efforts of Americans for Safe Access, writing condition-based pamphlets, policy white papers, training materials, and monthly activist newsletter.

William completed a B.A. in English at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado and earned an M.A. from San Francisco State University. He has taught writing at several colleges. He currently teaches at University of Redlands. A competitive cyclist, William likes to ride with his wife Michelle in their home in southern California.
