Heather Manus, RN, HN-BC, HWNC-BC, is a board-certified holistic nurse and health and wellness nurse coach, medical cannabis nursing expert, and founder of Cannabis Nurses Network. Known as “Nurse Heather,” she brings together whole-person care, endocannabinoid science, nursing leadership, and patient advocacy.

A native New Mexican, Heather began her nursing career in psychiatric home health. Her experience with Hispanic and Native American healers deepened her respect for traditional healing knowledge and individualized care. Deep listening, meaningful connection, and personal growth remain central to her nursing and coaching approach.

Since founding Cannabis Nurses Network in 2015, Heather has developed educational programs, professional resources, and opportunities for nurse mentorship and speaker development. Her advocacy includes expanding medical cannabis access for people living with PTSD in Arizona and supporting Ryan’s Law and its implementation in California.

Heather speaks on holistic nursing, nurse coaching, cannabinoid therapeutics, post-traumatic growth, and nursing leadership. She welcomes speaking, consulting, educational partnerships, and advisory opportunities.
